About Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF)
WACIF is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution that has supported entrepreneurs in the DC region since 1987. It provides term loans and other financing along with training programs such as Ascend and Certified Up, plus business coaching and technical assistance. It also operates community spaces including the Anacostia Art Center and The HIVE.
